About the Site

This site has been around, and pretty much the same, since the boy next door taught me how to make a table in dreamweaver.
It was pretty fugly, but functional and a little amusing to look at perhaps.

Well, after over 5 years I changed things around because I was sitting there the other day thinking,
"If I die tomorrow, people online are forever going to remember me as 'that girl who made a damn fugly site.'"
...which is fine, honestly. But I did want to make something at least a little more normal, and a little more update-friendly
(all but 2 pages are .php files now). And I wanted something white, though there was a black version too.
So now I'm prepared in case I accidentally drink 100+ grams of soppy chewing tobacco (>_<)
The gallery is in the black version; if you prefer the black please let me know and I may change it.
I'm aware that white isn't exactly the color everyone thinks of when it comes to Velvet Eden,
but it really does fit. Blackness is usually seen as emptiness and darkness, right? Well, in terms of color,
black is a very warm color, a mixture of all of the others (just draw on some paper with a black marker
and wet it)....white is the color of nothingness. Hense is this site temporarily white and dirty.

Thank you to everyone who's supported the site over these 6 years. And to those who I've become friends with through the site,
I'm so happy I got the chance to meet you.
