Bara Chuudoku no Taihaiteki Tanbiron

Has everyone had the chance to listen to [Glitter] yet?
There will be an instore event at Lika Tokyo this month. Before then, I'd like to simply introduce all of the songs?---------------

1. Kaleidoscope-glitter mix-

"No one can stop us anymore, I won't let anyone stop us anymore"

My first single has been daringly remixed.
This song is the work I put all of my heart into, my resolution and feelings towards everybody, along with the world that I want to express.
But upon including it in the album, we considered its balance among the other songs and I realized that we ought to remix it to make the [my resolution and feelings towards everyone] part more conspicuous.

If you can feel my resolution, I will be happy.

2. Walkure

[I'll show you the light born from the darkness of your own scornful laugh]

I placed in order with Hora (ex Schwarz Stein) and he composed this song for me.
It's a song well-known from my lives, so I wonder if there weren't people who knew it by ear already.
The "Valkyrie" is a goddess of war who appears in Norse mythology, a maiden of battle.

I don't think [worth] is something that humans can decide.
I think it is something that we make for ourselves.

[Beautiful flowers] bloom from the mud and earth.
I think [creation] is impossible without being [complex].

Because our hearts have been scarred, we have [compassion].
Because there's darkness in our hearts, light can be born from them too.

3. Paradise Lost

[You see now this paradise; all is forgiven here]

Oh, oh! I LOVE this! (laughs)
To sing my own praise, I really, really like this song. (laughs)
This is the very first song that Kalm composed for me.
More than love at first sight, it was love at first sound!(?) *laughs*
This is the kind of song I'd like to make my strongest point.

There's meaning layered in the repitition, and this style of writing lyrics where I complete one tale while hiding away yet more is a construction from my time in Schwarz Stein.
I keep bragging to myself and thinking I've grown another step with this work. I have complete confidence in it.
And, by the way, although it's obvious, this song has my own experiences as a base as well. (laughs)

4. Psycho Butterfly - Nightmare mix-

[The night-time forces its way to my heart]

This was the coupling song on my second single.
It's also one of the favorites at lives.
It's a song that uses strings, and fuses gothic and digital.
The rythm's been emphasized more than it was on the single.
I wrote it with care for the feeling of grace and softness that the Japanese language holds.
On sleepless nights, please listen to it.

5. Masquerade - fabulous night mix -

[That simmering heat's what's real]

This is my second single.
We re-recorded the lyrics anew.
I really like the way the singing came out on the album version.
You simply must compare it to the single if you have it.
Though I was mainly digital toned club sound, this was my first time to challege a jazz number.
At the time of recording the album, we supplimented it with a live sax.
I wove a very important message into this song.
Distrust the [common sense] within you!
Distrust the so called [common sense] of this world!!!

6. Rose Jail

[With all my hurts]

Hora composed this song himself.
As I decided to start doing onemans, I thought how much I wanted some straighforward song, live songs you may say, where I could express my emotions straight out as well, and commissioned this from Hora in a hurry.
It's the Kaya & Hora strong point number I suppose (laughs)

When I wrote the "with all my hurts" part, I had decided to record it in this manner.
With the lyrics and recording together, I wonder if it isn't the most grinding song I came out with!? (laughs)
The majority opinion from fans and those related alike seems to be that "with all my hurts" can be heard in a completely different way though (bursts out laughing)
I wonder what you hear?? (pout)
This is something from my own painful experiences, and so if I talk about the contents I can't make sport of it.
So I'll be leaving the details out (runs)

7. Silvery Dark

[Surely you must think it best if we two had never met]

This is a new song that I comissioned from Kei, who's been the recording engineer and well as arranger since my second single.
It's the kind of melody I've not sung until now, so perhaps you were all surprised?!
Actually, on the day of the recording, it happened that the melody and lyrics underwent a major change.(laughs)
About the lyrics for this song.

When I first wrote them, I decided "I'll do a broken heart song!" and wrote them out. (laughs)
A lot of my ballads are by nature "Blighted love songs" (wry smile), and even so, all of them have a tendency to end up so heavy don't they....(wry smile)
As a color, I guess you would say they're [dark]...

So I wanted to comission a [blue] song, an [unrequitted love] song.

I recalled all of my past memories, and wrote this song (laughs)

The 16 year old who thought it was enough to cling to those [special] ambiguous words is, perhaps, still waiting for someone freezing in that sea.

8. Glitter Arch

[I came to live so long condemning the feelings of guilt lodged in my chest
-now I'll let myself go for you-]

This is the main song on the album.
This is what I've been singing for, and this is the place I've finally reached.
I was thinking of my beloved family, sweetheart, friends, and everyone who supports me when I wrote this.
My friends are all wild-child like people who only say the stupidest things (laughs), but if the world were to end tomorrow, I think they'd be laughing in the end still.
They're the people who gave me light as I kept attacking myself within the darkness.
I want to be able to laugh at the end of the world too.

And, I want to spread the extent of that "strength of the light born from darkness."
With the sun baking our bodies, let's run as far as we can.

9. Hydrangea

In truth, the album ends with the 8th song.
But now, with the timing, I came to want to sing this song.
But that's something else....

With the lyrics and manner of singing, I spent a lot of time in perfecting it (laughs)
As for the lyrics, the way I linked "The movement of the wind", "the movement of the rain", and "the flow of time", and the [depiction of the hydrangea], the [use of color] all has a meaning.
The way I sang is the real focus point, and it's the first time I tried singing in a whisper.
(I received mail asking "Who's that woman singing?"....but, it's me~!(ulsgha)
That and the chorus in the other songs is all me~)

I'll continue to sing, so watch me from far on the other side of the sky....

---------------------------------------------------------------------

With Rose Jail, I always heard "wheels on my", "we'll survive", or "mitsubai (illegal trafficking)" and thought "Oh....angry bus". So either 70's music, angry schoolbus songs, or illegal slave trade *lol*. It took me a few days to get what he was really saying.

Ah but other than that, Walkure, it's different for me.
Because I've been hurt, I've decided that even if they don't mean to,
humans will only continue to hurt others through their own weaknesses without even realizing it.
So to prevent this the world should end, and therein lies true compassion.
For some reason, no one understands that but Japanese grandmothers, but that's cool because they like hijiki ^^ *it's yummy*

As he said though, ending isn't a bad thing; I'd probably run around in circles and laugh too. And I'd make Hanachan, unless I pushed him around in a shopping cart like we agreed. And he'd get annoyed.
