GOD SYNTHESIS TRANSLATIONS 14
At 7 in the evening on a particular day, in a particular place near my home,
I became the gaurdian of a lost cat who couldn't see well due to cataracts and
  old age.
The place had a road where a fair amount of cars pass by, and was thus dangerous,
so for the time being I brought it home with me and decided to take it to the
animal hospital with me the next day.
When I brought Kuro (he was a stray, so I thus cristened him of my own accord)
there the next morning, they said he was still a little dehydrated, but there
wasn't anything else abnormal about him and he made it through with some water.
So I go back home, called the police health care center, take Kuro's picture
and make some [I've got this cat...] fliers, and go around the neighborhood
to hang a whole bunch of them up in places of a suitable nature.
And as I was in the middle of doing that, I got a call on my keitai from his
  owner.
It seems somehow they found out I was taking care of him from the hospital.
It was a very happy sounding call, and at once my great tension was lifted.

So I tore all the fliers down again and rushed back to my house.
"Hey, someone's gonna come and get you soon yo! Isn't that great, Kuro!" I said
and talked at him for a bit until his owner, a woman, came to pick him up.
When I heard her tale, I found that his home was about 1 km from mine, and he
had been gone for 2 days before I found him.
He'd been brought up strictly as a house cat but had whimsically ran out of
the house, and though they had searched in vain the couldn't find him and were
  pretty worried.
She was a very pleasant lady, and took Kuro and my fliers home as a commemoration
  of the Finding.
When I saw Kuro bundled in his owners arms and crying meows of joy, I too felt
  happiness.
And so Kuro's owner was peacefully found, and I feel it was truly a good thing
  that happened.
However, though it may have been but a day, there's also the loneliness of having
Kuro gone now that he'd been with me.
By the way, when I took Kuro in, the middleweight champion of our glorious abode,
  alias [Kocha], was nobley wrathful.
  It kinda sucked (bitter laugh)
When he gets angry he goes [Woorrnyarlnyarlnyarlnyarlnyarlnyarlnyarlnyarl..
  ....] like that (laughs)
  Honestly.
And my 2nd album will commence shipment sometime mid-month.
Hope you're looking forward to it. Nyarlnyarlnyarlnyarl... .

...so if Kuro and my brother's fish were to get together they would be okay, because Kuro could not see Todd and wouldn't eat him, and Todd could not see Kuro and wouldn't get scared, and they would be the perfect stereotypical compliment (kuro can mean "black"). Plus my fish is a powers ranger. *end transmision with a possible spelling error*
That aside, although it probably has no connection, Mimori Yusa collaborated with NHK around this time to release a short entitled [Kuro] about a girl who meets a stray under a tree and brings him home. He's still a little wayward, but he waits for her to come home, walks around, listens to her songs, and does fickle cat things. She really loves him, but then one day he dies and becomes a star up in the sky, and she imagines he's watching over her for always...
